The KUBOTAN This is the most docile or benign looking self defense martial arts weapon that anyone can imagine and to my knowledge it is legal in every state of the union. This item is 5.5 inches long and normally you attach your keys to it. With the keys attached, it gives you the ability to use it as a frail striking at the eyes. Personally I would not recommend this as it would only have a tendency to make an attacker mad. Now to stop an attack as gross as this may sound. . . TAKE the eye out with the other end and the attack will instantly stop! BET ON IT AND I DO NOT CARE WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF THIS. WHEN IT COMES TO A PERSON'S LIFE, WHO REALLY CARES? I do not know about any of you but I have never heard of an attacker to complete a robbery or a rape when they just had one eyeball taken out! This is just one of the many strikes available with the use of this martial arts weapon, there is no wrong strike, WHICH MAKES THIS ITEM GREAT! Excuse me for the graphic example but self defense is no joke! (send me a few extra dollars for the advise lol) We would advise you to do some research on the kubotan and/or obtain instructional material on the proper use of it. One thing for sure is, learning the use of the kubotan does not take a lot of practice and the basic concept is that a small concentrated strike with the kubotan is more effective than a strike with the closed fist. Try poking yourself with one finger, and then do the same thing with the same amount of strength with your fist, then you will understand. Do your research and study strike points, then you will be ready to go with just the basic understanding of the kubotan. This is an effective martial arts weapon that is unregulated in this country, (to my knowledge), that you carry in your hand with your keys. Perfect equalizer for women or smaller framed people to compensate for the strength of a possible attacker.
